Mainstream School Children - Sept 10

Hilma continues to help the older children already at the mainstream schools with their homework and extra learning in the afternoons and to monitor their progress. The children still have lots of energy to keep them going through their long day and the schools have seen a very big improvement in most of the children.

The children are very excited about the visit planned with staff from KMPG next month for the official handover of their new school minibus. KPMG Namibia have kicked off the sponsorship of this bus but we are still searching for two more sponsors to enable us to purchase the bus outright and save costly monthly payments and interest. Email donations@naankuse.com if you are interested or have any contacts who might be able to support us.

Help us to raise awareness and support by telling your friends, family and colleagues about our work – send them the link to our School Video and encourage them to join our ABC Club.

MARIA seems to be enjoying the first grade so much. Hilma is so proud of her as she passed all of her subjects last term and her teacher says she has improved a lot. Maria is doing really well in Environmental Study and Religious Education. Well done Maria!

BETTIE did so well last term and she passed all of her subjects with good grades. Bettie did very well in Maths and the teacher said she is very hardworking. Well done Bettie!

MARTHA is one of the best in her class and her teacher always has a smile on her face when she talks about her. Martha is on the top list of best achievers in her class. Her report shines with B’s and C’s and she is doing particularly well in Mathematics, Environmental and Physical Education. Martha is a dedicated and diligent learner.
