Over the Easter weekend we celebrated the occasion with a big party! Every person of all ages got involved - from the tiniest toddlers to Bettie and Martha, two of our eldest children, as well as the volunteers and staff.
On Good Friday we started the party off with an Easter Egg Treasure Hunt - we made 3 groups of volunteers and children and set them off with clues which took them all around the farm to find their eggs. Along the way some groups visited Samira the cheetah, others visited the baby baboons - at each stop they would find another clue which led them to their next destination.

Once they had found their treasure, the teams set about painting their eggs. The children decorated the eggs using colourful paints, ribbons and glitter.
